During your Saskatchewan whitetail hunt with us, your lodging will be in a beautiful 2300-square-foot cabin at the south end of Green Lake, a gorgeous body of water in the heart of the southern boreal forest. With its only access off a 10-mile-long old logging road, our camp is a secluded haven, surrounded by miles of untouched wilderness with no neighbours in sight.
Our camp's remote nature means that it operates off the grid on a generator, yet we keep you connected with Wi-Fi and enjoy all the comforts of home, including electricity and modern amenities. Inside, you’ll find a simple and modest space that feels cozy, with a beautiful wood-paneled ceiling and walls adorned with rustic decor. Every year, our visitors tell us that this serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is truly good for the soul.

Kitchen and Dining Area
Our well-appointed kitchen makes dining a pleasure. With its gorgeous lakefront view, it also comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy delicious freshly prepared meals: a spacious fridge and freezer, dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, and a water filter/dispenser.
In this space, you’ll enjoy an early coffee and breakfast before the day starts and a hearty home-cooked meal when you return in the evening from whitetail deer hunting in Saskatchewan’s beautiful forest. The area comes complete with cozy chairs where you can enjoy a drink by the fireplace or unwind while watching television.
Our renowned chef, Diane, takes care of all your meals. She's been with Elusive for years, and her culinary delights consistently receive rave reviews from our guests.
Our Outdoor Amenities
Thanks to our remote and private location, spending time in the outdoor spaces around our camp feels like the rest of the world fades away while nature takes center stage. Various hiking and ATV trails surround the camp, where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area, whether you're seeking a peaceful stroll or an adventurous ride.
Our lodge features a beautiful east-facing deck overlooking the lake, offering the perfect spot to witness an awe-inspiring sunrise and enjoy your morning coffee in the tranquility of the sun's warmth. We also offer outdoor firepits that you can use to unwind under the stars after a long day of searching for monster whitetail deer.
The Lounge
When you’re not out and about immersed in the action of our Saskatchewan whitetail hunts, our lounge offers you a warm and inviting space to rest after a busy day’s work. With ample comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a library of DVDs, there’s no better place to recharge and share stories with fellow hunters. We even offer some classic arcade games to add a touch of nostalgia and fun to your downtime.
Your Sleeping Arrangements
Every week, we host six to eight hunters at Green Lake Camp for our guided whitetail hunts. Our team works hard to create a pleasant and welcoming home-away-from-home family atmosphere for each of you.
Our bedrooms are designed for your comfort, with personal fans and mirrors for added convenience. There is a mix of queen-over-queen bunk beds, a queen bed, and single-over-single bunk beds, ensuring that almost everyone has their own room while couples, family members, or close friends can share.
The lodge also provides propane and wood heating and air conditioning for summertime, ensuring a cozy stay no matter the time of year. Its two shared modern bathrooms feature a tub and shower, so after a day hunting deer in Saskatchewan, you refresh yourself in a soothing, well-appointed space.
Where to Stay Before and After Your Hunt
Coming from out of province or country? Here's what we recommend to make your travel days as smooth as possible. Our team picks guests up in Saskatoon at 10:00 AM, and with the camp sitting about three and a half hours from the city, arriving the night before is really your best bet. It's a much smoother start than trying to catch an early morning flight and make the pickup in time. The same goes for the trip home. After a few days in the forest, having a night in Saskatoon before your flight makes for a much more relaxed departure. Here are a few hotels we recommend:
