Yes, there is one important potential fee to be aware of. Elusive enforces a 140-inch minimum on bucks. Any deer harvested below that threshold results in a $1000 penalty. This minimum exists to protect the quality of the herd and ensure trophy-calibre animals remain available for future seasons. Please note that in 2027, the minimum increases to 145 inches with a $1500 penalty. Cull deer designated by management are exempt. 

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due two months before your hunt date. Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another hunter if your plans change. 

Yes, non-hunters are welcome at camp. The additional fee is 2500 USD plus tax per non-hunting guest. They can join you at your stand (please let us know in advance so we can set up accordingly) or simply relax at camp and enjoy the natural surroundings. 

Elusive recommends tipping both your guide and the camp cook in the range of 10 to 15% of the total hunt price. Both play a significant role in making the week memorable. The guide puts you in a position to succeed in your hunting goals, and the cook keeps you well-fed and comfortable throughout. 

No. Whether you prefer to use a rifle or a bow, our team provides the same services for the same base price to help you get your trophy. 

No. We offer one fully-loaded hunt package at $6,500 USD per person. There are no tiers, no upsells, and nothing you need to add on to have a complete experience. Everything from your pickup in Saskatoon to trophy preparation is included in that price. The only variables are the optional non-hunting guest fee and gratuities for your guide and cook. 

We book hunts in six-week blocks running from late October through early December each year. We currently have availability for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 seasons — specific weekly dates for each season are listed on this page. Spots fill quickly, so booking a year or two out is common. 

Our team will assist you in skinning and freezing your harvest for easy and safe transport home. Local taxidermy is also available.
